Van Zeeland Nursery & Landscape

Very unfortunate situation, I purchased a tree from them with the year guarantee. The tree was infested with scale, and all the leaves were completely dead within just a few months after purchasing the tree. I hand removed every single one of it and revive the tree. I reached out multiple times by email, with photos, going into the store and I never had anyone help. I asked many times for someone to come look at my tree and I never got an answer. I asked them after a few years of me reviving this tree and really trying to give it my all if they would honor their help that they had promised, even though it has been a little bit longer, but the tree is very much alive and looks good, but it’s infested again. I asked them if they would do pine tree in its place and they refuse. Sadly, they are so close to my home and I would love to give them the business, but I will never. I think it’s very very poor care and service. When I called it didn’t seem like there was much concern. I think businesses should honor their word, if I would not have picked every bit of scale off that tree by hand that tree would’ve been dead within three months. I gave it everything I had and sadly I will not be

I worked with VanZeeland on a pond restoration project on my property. It was a HUGE job and VZ was extremely professional and completed the job in 2 weeks. They paid intense focus to the details of the project and made sure everything was just perfect when they were finished. I give VanZeeland my highest recommendation and will definitely be using them again for other lawn and landscape needs.

We had Van Zeeland’s help with two projects this summer/fall. The summer project was a significant backyard renovation, which included building a new garden with raised beds, a fence, and two arbor gates, along with installing a paver patio and renovating an old covered pavilion, along with adding significant hardscape, updating an existing patio, pruning lots of trees and shrubs and adding a significant number of trees, shrubs etc…. The fall project was building a pergola and replacing two old decks with new Trex decking and railing. In short, every aspect of both projects was managed extremely well and we are beyond satisfied with the results. The project management and communication was great, the quality of the work outstanding and they did a beautiful job on every aspect of the jobs. They listened when we had questions or changes, and there really wasn’t any part of either project we had concerns with. Mike and Jared were a true pleasure to work with and we’d recommend them to anyone needing work done.

From the beginning ....Much appreciation to the wonderful lady that helped my family select the perfect tree to be planted at our church in my Dads' memory, to the coordination of the actual planting with "special requests" that were acknowledged and respected! After a healthy beautiful Autumn Blaze Pear tree was chosen, we were told the planting schedule was about three weeks out, and then I found out that the parking lot was going to be ripped up. Van Zeeland's was amazingly cooperative and helpful in moving up the planting of my dad's tree to the exact day I asked for, and even went an extra step as Rachel contacted me personally to let me know when the crew was on their way, so we could be at the church when it was planted, allowing us to take some pictures to share with our other out of town family members. The young man and young lady that planted it were very knowledgeable and extremely efficient. ~ HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Wow! What an amazing experience working with Jared, Roberto, Lorenzo and Able along with some other Van Zeeland employees like Rachel, Rich and Michael. They answered all our questions, were supportive of our needs and concerns, and did what we asked exceeding our expectations. The value of the work they did was more than worth the cost of the project. They provided solutions to our water and drainage issues. They are highly knowledgeable of the all aspects of landscaping. Watching the team work was amazing. Even our neighbors were impressed by the process. They are clearly pros and make it look so easy. They were efficient, orderly and friendly. Each day they picked up the site, disposed of trash, and stored their materials out of sight of our view from inside the house. They transformed our sub-par backyard to an outdoor oasis that is calming and easy to maintain. We could not be happier with the outcome. It is truly beautiful. We can’t wait to see it in full bloom! Thank you so much!
